Our verdict
Beginners and recreational players who want less weight in the hand get an especially easy racket to reposition. Its soft response and forgiving hitting area help keep defensive exchanges going with compact swings. Finishing power is limited, and the lively ball response still requires a restrained touch when placing slower shots.
- Best for
- beginners who prefer very low weight
- recreational players using compact swings
- Skip if
- your game depends on powerful smashes
- you prefer a firm, weighty volley
How it plays
Power
Power score7.0
Limited finishing weight. Reviews disagree on the degree of power available, but both describe a racket that relies on the player to supply speed for a decisive smash.
Control
Control score7.3
Useful for measured placement and defensive lobs. The lively face needs a short, controlled swing because a loose block can send the ball beyond the intended depth.
Maneuverability
Maneuverability score8.2
Fast to prepare for reaction volleys. The very low weight makes late adjustments easier and helps maintain quick hands through repeated exchanges.
Sweet spot
Sweet spot score8.2
Forgiving on imperfect contact. The flexible face and broad effective hitting area help rushed defensive shots retain useful depth.
Feel
Soft and cushioned at impact. The fiberglass face and HR2 core favour a gentle response over the crisp feedback of a firmer attacking racket.
