Our verdict
Advanced all-round players who prefer building rallies get easy defensive depth and a cushioned response from this soft teardrop. It suits repeated sliced overheads and quick changes at the net, with a forgiving hitting area when contact slips. Flat smashes have a lower ceiling, and lively rebound calls for restraint when blocking fast balls.
- Best for
- advanced all-round players
- players who build points with spin
- defenders seeking easy depth
- Skip if
- flat smashes are your main weapon
- you prefer a firm, low-rebound face
How it plays
Power
Power score7.4
Moderate finishing strength: the flexible face and soft core help with depth on short swings, but flatten the response when you accelerate a full smash.
Control
Control score7.3
Useful placement with an active touch. Lobs and sliced overheads come easily, while blocks against fast balls need a compact motion to avoid sending them long.
Maneuverability
Maneuverability score8.4
Quick enough for repeated volleys. The aerodynamic frame helps preparation, although players moving from a light round racket still need time to adapt to its mass.
Sweet spot
Sweet spot score8.2
A forgiving area for a teardrop keeps hurried defensive contacts playable. Accuracy still improves when you find the centre, especially on low balls.
Feel
Soft and cushioned at impact, with vibration damping that takes the edge off mishits. Reviews differ on arm suitability, so a sensitive arm warrants a personal trial.
