Head Vibe (2026)
Teardrop

Best for beginners and lower intermediates wanting a light, soft, forgiving racket; outgrown once pace and smash power improve.
A light, soft teardrop for beginners and lower intermediates who want an easy first racket of their own, especially players bringing timing over from tennis or squash. It is quick, forgiving and gentle on the arm, and it asks very little of the swing. The ceiling on pace and smash power is low, so most players outgrow it as their game speeds up, and a firmer carbon frame is the natural next step.
Moderate: depth arrives with a short swing, but the ceiling is low. At around 345 g the soft fibreglass face and EVA core add little to a full-speed smash, so it suits building points rather than finishing them.
Good for placing the ball at friendly pace, less secure under pressure. Depth, lobs and resets come easily with early preparation. No textured surface is confirmed, so spin depends on clean brushing rather than surface grip.
Very quick, and the racket's best trait. With a neutral balance the head swings through fast, so late preparation, volleys and bandejas feel less tiring than with a heavier round-headed starter model. Strong opponents can still push it around at the net.
Large and forgiving through the middle. The wide teardrop head makes the ball easy to find, and slightly off-centre contact still lands deep enough to keep a point going. Contact near the rim twists the face and loses direction.
Soft and gentle on the arm, with a muted, springy response from the fibreglass face and EVA core. Grip size and technique still decide how kind any racket really is, and the feedback is simple rather than detailed.
