Our verdict

Advanced attackers who live at the net and finish on the first good ball get a quick, firm teardrop with a high power ceiling. It rewards a full, clean swing and a consistent contact point, and it offers little help on short defensive strokes or late lifts from the back wall.

Best for: advanced attackers; players who finish at the net; clean, full swings
Skip if: you defend from the back; your arm is sensitive; you want easy power on short strokes

How it plays

Power

8.9

High, and it comes from your own swing. A full, accelerated stroke sends flat, fast smashes and viboras, but a short or hurried hit gets little help from the firm core.

Control

8.0

Good rather than excellent, and the reviews disagree. Blocks and attacking volleys are precise and the rough face bites on bandejas, but lobs and defensive exits from the back need a full arm swing.

Maneuverability

8.0

Quick for its weight at the net, though the reviews disagree on how much. The medium-high balance and slightly longer handle let you set the face early, but the 360 to 370 g mass tires you over long matches.

Sweet spot

7.2

Decent but not forgiving, and the reviews disagree. The best area is slightly high on the face and clean contact matters, while hits near the throat go dead and off-centre contact can twist the face.

Feel

Firm and direct, with limited cushioning. Vibration damping in the frame and handle makes it tolerable for a conditioned arm, but it is no racket for players with a sensitive elbow.

Review Drop Shot AXION ATTACK 1.0 2025 💣 La pala de pádel de JON SANZ ⚔️ · Feb 2025
- The racket moves very easily and stays quick at the net, with no penalty on volleys or bandejas.
- It feels softer and less hard than expected when hit in the centre, and the sweet spot is well spread.
- Control is good in attack and from the back, with the contact point staying in front of the body.
- Flat smashes feel comfortable, while generating kick is harder because the face is firm.
