Teardrop

Best for intermediate all-court players who want arm comfort and control, not maximum smash power.
Intermediate players who want an attacking shape without paying for it in the elbow get a soft, forgiving teardrop here. The low-density core gives easy ball exit, a roomy sweet spot and quick hands at the net, while heavy flat smashes are where it runs out of punch.
Decent rather than headline. The soft core compresses on a hard flat smash, so pace comes from technique and spin more than from the frame.
A clear strength. Blocks, resets, bandejas and lobs come out predictably with good depth, and placement battles suit it better than raw hitting contests.
Quick for a teardrop, with fast hands in reaction volleys. Arriving late from the back wall can leave the head feeling heavy, and the 360 to 375 g adds up over long matches.

Suggest a correctionBroader than you expect from a mid-high balance teardrop. Off-centre hits and rushed volleys still return a playable ball rather than dead vibration.
The headline trait. A soft, damped feel on contact keeps the arm fresh across a long session, which is the main reason to pick it over a firmer attack racket.
