Bullpadel Vertex 05 GEO Pablo Cardona (2026)

Power is the headline. Bandeja, vibora and smash all leave the face with real speed once you accelerate, and the power comes easily without needing a hard swing. The flat smash is a touch less convincing, as the ball sinks slightly into the face.

Control is high at pace. Blocks, counters and volleys stay settled and keep their depth, and the rough face adds bite for topspin and cut volleys. Slow or soft touch shots feel a little blunt, so on defensive balls you need an active hand to gain depth.

Quick enough for fast exchanges at the net, but not nimble. The balance sits medium to high, so the racket is not the quickest through the air. Claimed weight is 365 to 375 g and can feel lighter once the grip is changed, and reviewers disagree on the balance figure.

Wider than on the standard Vertex. The geometric head spreads the hitting area higher and lower on the face, so slightly off-centre contact still leaves the racket stable. Defence from deep still asks for clean footwork, because the firm face does not rescue late or stretched contacts.

Firm, not harsh. The medium-hard feel gives a direct, dry response at impact, and the frame damps vibration reasonably well. The textured finish stops short of the logo area, so spin and feel can change from one contact to the next.
