Name: Bullpadel Ionic Power Javi Leal (2025)
Brand: Bullpadel

Our verdict

A power diamond for intermediate and advanced attackers who want free ball speed without a harsh feel. The medium touch keeps it forgiving for a head-heavy racket, and lobs and overheads leave the face with little effort. It rewards a calm swing: hit flat and hard and the ball can run away.

Best for: intermediate attackers; players who lob and finish overhead; left-side power players
Skip if: you prioritise precise placement; you want a very forgiving round racket

How it plays

Power

8.0

Strong but not extreme. Ball output is the headline: lobs, bandejas and overheads gain depth with a short swing. A hard, flat smash in warm conditions can feel slightly muted compared with the stiffest power rackets.

Control

7.5

Decent for an attacking racket. Blocks and slices are reliable at medium pace, but at high speed the ball can float or jump, so placement takes a calm hand rather than a big swing.

Maneuverability

7.4

Better than the shape suggests, though opinions split. Some testers find it light and quick even with the high balance, while others feel the extra work at the net and on defensive volleys.

Sweet spot

7.5

Average for the category, and reviewers disagree. Some call it generous for a diamond and others find it small and high on the face, so expect a decent margin but not a forgiving round racket.

Bullpadel IONIC POWER 2025 Is it the BEST POWER RACKET in terms of quality/price? · Jun 2025

Easy on the arm for an attacking diamond, and it moves the ball well from the back of the court at medium pace.
The sweet spot is standard to good even by attacking-racket standards, and the medium touch keeps it progressive at speed.
Weak spot is the hard flat smash in hot weather, where the ball sinks into the face; the rough surface is milder than last year.
Judged one of the best-value power rackets of the year.

Bullpadel Ionic Power 2025 - Full Review: Power, Ball Output & Value Tested! · Jun 2025

Huge ball output makes lobs the surprise strength, with flat smashes and the por tres also working well.
Measured balance is lower than the brand's high label, so it feels easy to move, though net volleys still need care.
Not a precision racket: swing hard and the ball flies, and the face gives only modest spin.
Comfortable on the arm and a diamond with a generous sweet spot, but too heavy for lighter players.
