Best for intermediate and advanced attackers who finish overheads and volleys, less so for players who defend a lot.
A head-heavy diamond for intermediate to advanced players who attack from the net and want their overheads to land heavier and faster. It pairs a firm carbon face with a dual-density core and is built around finishing points. It rewards early preparation and clean contact, and it suits defenders from the back much less.
Power is the strength, and the strongest note of the lot. Smashes leave the face fast and volleys come off crisp. Not everyone finds it explosive though: written tests rank it among the strongest rackets in its brand's range, while one on-court test found it good but not exceptional, a little short of the Vertex Geo on smashes.
Control is good for a diamond, and it comes from aggression rather than fine touch. Placement is reliable when you arrive early and hit with commitment. Slow, defensive shots from the back ask for compact, committed technique.
It is easier to handle than the shape and balance suggest. Several testers call it surprisingly manageable in the hand for this much power. Fast counters and long defensive rallies still ask more of your wrist than a lighter, more balanced racket would.
The sweet spot is usable but not generous, so you need to meet the ball properly. Centred, early contact feels great, while late or low hits lose pace and accuracy quickly. One test found it friendlier than the diamond shape implies.
The feel is firm rather than plush. Vibration damping helps and one tester found it comfortable, but it is not an arm-friendly racket. The lightly textured, glossy face lets the ball slip, so spin and bite take deliberate effort.
