Bullpadel Ionic Light (2026)
Teardrop

Best for advanced all-court attackers who want a fast, damped teardrop; pricey for what it does and not forgiving.
A fast, damped teardrop for strong intermediate and advanced attackers who win through hand speed rather than raw mass. It rewards early volleys and accelerated overheads with a muted, connected feel instead of a harsh carbon response. The catch is the price: it is a limited, badge-driven premium racket. Beginners, slow-swing power players and anyone who often hits low or off the frame should look elsewhere.
Good once you commit to the swing, but the power comes from racket speed rather than mass. At about 355 g with a neutral balance it does not hand you the heavy passive push of a head-heavy 365 g model.
Control is the standout, and quick exchanges at the net are where it feels best. Drop shots and soft touch plays need some care, because the firm face gives little cushioning.
Quick through the air and fast to recover between shots. The teardrop frame suits early volleys and accelerating the swing on overheads.

Suggest a correctionMedium in size and sitting slightly above the centre. Low, lateral or late contact loses depth and can feel firm, so it is not forgiving if you often miss the middle.
Better than most stiff carbon attackers, with a damped, connected feel from the 3K carbon face over a Multi-EVA core. Edge mishits still sting.
