Best for advanced attackers who want maximum smash power and accept a small, demanding sweet spot.
A racket for advanced attackers who finish points at the net and want the hardest-hitting diamond in the adidas range. Power is the headline, helped by a head-heavy mould, a firm core and a stiff carbon face. The price is a small sweet spot and a harsh feel when contact is off. Defenders and players still stepping up should look at a softer Metalbone.
Elite, and the reason to buy it. Smashes and víboras leave the face fast and flat, and bandejas keep their bite. It rewards a fast, well-prepared swing more than easy, effortless output.
Strong when the ball is moving fast. Blocks against hard pace stay steady and attacking placement is precise. Slow touch shots, soft resets and defensive lobs take more work, because the face feels dry and gives little help.
Decent rather than quick. The head weight asks for an extra split second at the net and in fast exchanges. Shifting some of the adjustable weight toward the handle buys back a little speed in the hand.

Specs come from the maker and the reviews we read, and makers revise them between batches. If a weight, balance or material is off, tell us and we will fix the racket page.
Suggest a correctionSmall and high on the face. Clean contact there is explosive and repeatable, but low or off-centre hits lose speed quickly and feel firm. It is clearly less forgiving than the standard Metalbone.
Firm and unforgiving. The stiff core and face filter little vibration, so off-centre hits feel harsh. Players with a sensitive arm or elbow will notice the load over a long session.
