Our verdict
Advanced all-round players who create their own pace get a firm teardrop built for accurate volleys and assertive overheads. The response rewards preparation and a committed swing, while slow defensive contacts need more help from the arm. Written assessments disagree on how quickly it handles and how much forgiveness the face provides, making a personal test especially useful before choosing this premium model.
- Best for
- advanced all-round players
- players with active defensive technique
- Skip if
- you need effortless depth on slow swings
- you prefer a soft impact feel
How it plays
Power
Power score8.7
Strong on committed swings: the firm face supports forceful overheads, but pace still depends on your acceleration rather than effortless rebound.
Control
Control score8.7
Precise with active technique: firm volleys and placed overheads are strengths, while late defensive shots need a deliberate follow-through to reach useful depth.
Maneuverability
Maneuverability score8.6
Good overall, with disagreement: one assessment finds very fast net handling, while another reports more effort in defensive exchanges and at the upper weight limit.
Sweet spot
Sweet spot score8.7
Good overall, but reviews disagree on forgiveness: one describes a broad hitting area, while another warns that contact near the edge loses depth and direction.
