Best for experienced players who want a light attacking hybrid and can prepare cleanly for fast volleys.
Experienced players who build attacks through placement get a light hybrid with useful overhead leverage and accessible pace. Its appeal lies in combining active defence with an attacking finish, provided you prepare the stroke and find the centre. Reports differ on cushioning and forgiveness, so the softer version still suits players comfortable with a fairly direct impact.
Useful pace with a committed swing. The long handle adds overhead leverage, while the softer version offers accessible acceleration without the hard version’s maximum punch.
Reviews disagree on precision. Placement and lobs receive strong praise in one account, while another finds ordinary feedback; rushed volleys can also lose predictable depth.
Manageable rather than effortless. Low weight helps corrections, but the longer handle and attacking format still reward early preparation in quick exchanges.
Ordinary tolerance, despite a more generous written account. Both on-court tests describe a modest effective area, so contact away from the centre can lose depth.
Reports differ on softness. Written accounts praise cushioning, while both on-court tests describe a dry, fairly firm response that feels stronger than the Soft name suggests.
