Best for advanced attackers who want smash power and a lively soft-core feel; a poor fit for defensive play
Advanced attackers who finish at the net get a head-heavy diamond that turns an easy swing into a fast smash, with lively ball exit from its soft core. The price is a small, high sweet spot and a racket that needs early preparation on defence, so it rewards technique more than it forgives.
Very strong for a soft-cored racket. The head-heavy diamond and 18K carbon face give quick ball exit, so a smash or overhead leaves fast even at around 80 percent effort.
Reviews disagree. Some find it accurate on blocks and volleys, others rate control as only good, and the soft core gives up some bite on defensive blocks. Expect acceptable rather than precise placement.
Slower than a rounder racket. The weight sits in the head, so defence and quick reflex volleys need early preparation and a strong wrist, especially late in a long match.
Reviews disagree. One rates the hitting zone as decent, others find it small and set high on the face, so low contact comes out short. Centred hits are rewarded and mishits are not.
Reasonably gentle for a power diamond. The soft EVA core and the hole layout take some vibration out of off-centre hits, though the head load can still tire the arm over a long match.
