Best for advanced all-court attackers wanting a firm, versatile diamond with a generous sweet spot, not a soft arm-friendly feel.
A firm, responsive diamond for advanced all-court players who build rallies patiently and attack when the chance appears. Power and control sit close together, so it moves from drives to touch shots without feeling like a different tool. The medium-firm feel is not plush, so players who want a soft, arm-friendly racket or free smash power should look at a softer round shape.
Plenty of power, but not specialist level. It drives overheads and bandejas well, yet the smash still depends on good timing rather than handing you free pace. Against the previous generation it gives up some raw power for a cleaner, less abrupt response.
Very good, and almost level with its power. Blocks, lobs and soft touch shots all leave the face with a predictable response, so you can switch between attack and defence easily. The medium-firm face can run a little lively on blocks against heavy volleys, so preparation matters.
Quick for a diamond. The even balance keeps it fast in rapid net exchanges, and you can speed up a volley without the frame twisting. Players moving from a very light, head-light control racket feel the added swing effort once a long defensive point drags on.
Roomy for a diamond. The usable hitting area is bigger than the outline suggests, so slightly late volleys and rebounds off the glass still come back with a stable, predictable response. Clean contact is still rewarded more than sloppy timing.
Decent rather than a highlight. Carbon faces over a multilayer foam core give a medium-firm feel that is not plush, and the racket can feel lively when you block. If you want the racket to soak up pace for you, a softer round shape suits better.
