No verdict yet
We only publish a score after reading at least two independent reviews of a racket. The specs below are confirmed; the verdict follows.
A forgiving round racket for newer and recreational players who want an easy-to-handle frame with a soft feel. It belongs to a national-team themed World Cup range, so the French design is a big part of the appeal, but the build is a conventional beginner one. No independent play tests were available, so this reflects the specifications.
Modest rather than strong. Expect help with consistency more than raw pace, so players who like to smash hard or drive the ball from the back of the court will probably want something stiffer and more head-heavy.
The emphasis here is on control and consistency, which suits learning technique. The round shape and soft core are built to make placement easier rather than to add speed.
Should be quick to move. Weight is stated at 360 to 375 grams with a medium balance, which keeps the head light enough to swing fast and get around the net.
Forgiving, as the round shape puts the sweet spot in the middle of the face. Off-centre hits should be forgiven more than on a diamond-shaped frame.
Soft and gentle on the arm on paper. A low-density soft EVA core under textured fiberglass faces is meant to cushion vibration, with a reinforced frame for stability.
