Our verdict
A forgiving, soft control racket for intermediate players who build points with placement rather than hitting winners. It is a limited-edition World Cup release in Belgium colours, built on a round fiberglass face and a low-density EVA core. Smash-heavy players will want more punch. No independent play tests exist yet, so this rests on the manufacturer's specifications and shop information.
- Best for
- intermediate players who value control
- players who want a soft, arm-friendly feel
- fans of the World Cup edition design
- Skip if
- you want maximum smash power
- you prefer a stiff carbon feel
How it plays
Power
Modest power. A soft fiberglass face and low-density core will not match carbon models for raw pace. Edge reinforcement and a stiffer insert near the throat add a little extra drive, but heavy smashes and bandejas can run out of punch.
Control
Control is the strength. The springy, gentle response suits defensive and consistent play, and it helps with placement and with getting the ball back from awkward positions.
Maneuverability
Quick to swing. The low balance keeps the racket easy to move and light in long rallies, which gives solid help on volleys and blocks at the net.
Sweet spot
Easy to find. The round shape keeps the sweet spot centred, so clean contact comes without much effort.
Feel
Soft and arm-friendly. The low-density EVA core and fiberglass face give a gentle response, and the low balance keeps long rallies light on the arm.
