Head Extreme One X (2025)
Diamond

Best for advanced net attackers who want big finishing pace and can handle a head-heavy, demanding frame.
A head-heavy diamond for advanced players who attack and want to end points at the net with overheads, smashes and punchy volleys. Power is the headline, and a soft core takes some of the edge off contact. It rewards clean preparation. Intermediate players, defenders and anyone who prefers a light, forgiving frame should look elsewhere.
Power is the headline, rated among the strongest of any racket testers have tried. The ball leaves the face quickly even on a compact swing, and the pace is most obvious on smashes and fast volleys.
Better than you would expect from this much power. Placement shots like chiquitas are possible, but they want clean preparation, and the racket rewards early positioning while punishing sloppy technique.
Slow in rushed exchanges. The head swings slowly, so quick hand battles and long defensive points are hard work, and players who like a head-light racket will find it demanding over a full match.
Decent rather than generous. The sweet spot sits high on the face, so mistimed overheads and late blocks lose pace fast, and it does not hide late preparation.
Only fair, but gentler than most diamonds. The soft core makes contact feel less like a blunt hammer and helps on defensive lobs and balls off the glass. The response is still firm, so players with a sensitive elbow or shoulder will notice it over a long match.
