Nox X-Hero (2026)

Best for improvers and defensive net players who want a light, soft, forgiving racket and can live without finishing power.
A light, soft round racket for improvers and club regulars who live at the net or defend with placement and want an easy swing that keeps the arm fresh. It is the friendlier, cheaper edition of adidas's speed-first Cross It family, keeping most of the quickness and kindness of the dearer Light for less money. The trade is finishing power, so players who end points with heavy smashes should look at something stiffer.
Modest, and the main price of the light, soft build. Flat winners from awkward positions are hard to come by, counterattacks feel muted, and the face has less bite when you accelerate hard. The light frame also gives way against heavy balls.
Dependable for placing the ball where you mean to. The head-light round shape makes chiquitas, defensive lobs and bandejas simple to repeat, and the racket blocks pace without fuss.
The headline quality. The racket gets to the ball early, recovers quickly and stays fast in transitions at the net, helped by the light frame and head-light balance.
Good for a racket this light. Off-centre hits are forgiven, which suits improvers who are still finding the middle of the face.
Soft and kind on the arm. The fiberglass faces and soft EVA core take the sting out of impact, so long sessions do not tire the arm.
